Super 8 video
real & nostalgic > posed & polished
What is Super 8?
Super8 was a movie format invented in 1965 as a successor to 8mm film, both commonly used for home movies. The film comes on small 3-minute rolls and has all the colors and nostalgia associated with this old format, which is still around today.
Super8 is an unobtrusive medium that feels more like a friend documenting the day than a full production crew, which can often be distracting. It captures beautiful light leaks, soft grain, and a certain magic that can’t be felt or replicated with digital video, making every wedding film unique!
If traditional wedding videography isn’t your vibe, you’ll probably love how raw, playful, and nostalgic Super8 feels.
