Modern Hotel Van Zandt Wedding // Rachel & Ben

Rachel and Ben's wedding at Hotel Van Zandt in downtown Austin was one of my favorite weddings from last year! Everything from the beautiful purple sari's and henna tattoos to the colorful florals designed by Flora & Fauna made the wedding so beautiful and unique.

My favorite part of the day was Rachel & Ben's first look. I originally planned to have it in the hotel lobby, which is stunning, but I quickly changed my plans when I stepped foot in Rachel & Ben's hotel suite. The light-filled modern suite was the perfect private backdrop for their first look. During their first look I asked them if they would like to practice their first dance and without hesitation, Ben put on their song and they danced like no one was watching. I'm so glad we chose to do the first look in their hotel suite because it ended up being so romantic and intimate.
