Welcome to my first blog post! I figured it would be a good idea to start bogging about my shoots and progress as I attempt to dive into the photography world. I've been wanting to do a picnic themed photo shoot for awhile now and it finally happened after bouncing around some ideas with fashion blogger, Olivia Watson.
We ended up collaborating with a delicious local bakery Fluff Meringues & More and both of us gathered props to bring out the full essence of a fall picnic! Olivia and I went down to a park by my house a few hours before sunset to shoot and we had some of the most GORGEOUS natural lighting that i've ever shot with. We didn't really have any shots planned out so we went with what felt natural and had so much fun incorporating all of the props into the shoot. It's always so great when you have props to work with, especially when they are as precious as old books, pumpkin meringue fluffs, and a vintage bike.
Since Olivia and I have worked together in the past it was incredibly easy to shoot with her, she's a natural in front of the camera (even though she'll argue against that statement). I'm pretty stoked on these photos and hope you enjoy them! If you're looking to purchase any for editorial reasons you can at my Stocksy site!
